Burning example of insubordinate legislation of Indian Air Force

The Air Force Authority misrepresent the basic fact of attrition rate of air warrior. Last 15 years, the high rate of attrition is not due to the good package in civil sector but the main reason to leave the force is

(1) worst promotion policy as claimed during recruitment.Promotion policy is based on buttering rather than talent.

(2) Duty hour is vulnerable

(3) The work forces engaged in guard duty whereas DSC is specialised for this task. Misusing of skilled manpower.

(4) wrong implementation of HR policy. HR managerial/auth are more authoritarian style of leadership rather than participative.

(5) All the sacrifice medals like Sena medal, AVSM VSM, VIR CHAKRA etc 99% grab by monopoly officers.

(5) No study leave/no value of post graduate airmen/poor career progression/ mis utilisation of skilled manpower power

(6) incapable leadership

(7) high level corruption all most all branches of air force.

(8) separate messing among air warriors. A high communication gap b/w commander and work forces ie auth emphasis only downward communication. Upward communication suppressed by middle staffs on direction of commander.

(9) Colonial mindset of commissioned officer

(10) Defence burocrates support colonial mind set

(11) In house commissioning policy has been neglected

(12) egoism prevail in all most all commission rank rather than value work.

(13) frequent transfer

(14) Commander fail to create/generate patriotism among airwarriors.

(15) No settlement machineries like civil JMC, WORKS COMMITTEE, CONCILIATION, ARBITRATION, GRIEVANCES HANDLING, COLLECTIVE BARGAINING etc.

(16) A fake/dummy representation of airmen in Central Pay Commission. Whereas 97% work forces comes from airmen only.

(17) Lobbying by retired commissioned officer in National TV Channel for acute shortage of manpower in office rank only instead of jcos/jawans rank. Whereas all field duties rendered by airmen only.

(18) Poor retention policy.
