Today 4 th Dec 19, a mandamus writ regards to misuse of CSD profit heard by Chief Justice,Delhi high court C. Harishankar & j. D Patel. After a long silence a gap of one and half year, the irresponsible MOD forced by honorable high court to file the reply. The MOD counsell asked apology to court for his delay. Justice may be delayed but not denied. It is heinous and shame to this MOD official took more than 500 days to submit the reply. CSD is the big departmental stores (like reliance fresh, big bazars) selling the various and house hold items on payment to the defence forces and their dependants. So far their profits are misuse, mismanaged by the high officials of defence forces. Voice of exservicemen society defend the case and asked the MOD to submit their balance sheet, expenditures in different head along with audit report. It was presumed that more than Rs 100 crores annualy of the above profits is being misutilise by CSD and their officers. This huge money suppose to be utilise on the welfare of jco,jawans as 98% purchases made by this segments only. Voice of exservicemen society has requested honorable court that above fund to be utilise for the welfare and empowerment of jcos/jawans dependant children by opening professional colleges/medical/engineering colleges across the country and seats to be reserved exclusively for them or this money to be deposited in govt treasury.
